our process
Unique Art Glass is a licensed, bonded, and insured business—which simply means we have a license for our specialty trade, a surety bond in place to protect our clients, and an insurance policy in the event of unexpected business losses.
1. Initial Consultation
We begin with an initial consultation to determine the scope of the project and the client’s goals via phone, email, or in person. We will also define a preliminary estimate of cost and time.
2. Design meeting
A meeting on-site or at our studio will be arranged to further establish design direction and discuss any project specific details. Before proceeding with design or renderings, a commitment will be requested from the client.
3. Concepting & Design
Our team will develop 1-2 design concepts with the opportunity for several rounds of revision. During this step, feedback will be integrated, color and glass type will be determined, and a fabrication plan established.
4. Fabrication
Our team of fabricators will take the design into one of our studios, and begin the process of building the piece(s). Our goal is adhering to a high level of craftsmanship and to communicate our progress clearly.
5. Install, deliver, and/or ship
Once we finish fabrication, we will either install, deliver, or ship the project directly to you! Only then do we collect the final balance—upon the completion of the project.
